The Athlete Career & Education (ACE) Summit is an interactive, two-and-a-half-day event, focusing on personal and professional development, all designed to benefit YOU. You will have the opportunity to learn how to leverage your current athletic career by developing your personal brand for sponsors and appearances, gain tools to help you navigate the job market, access resources to start your professional career, engage in discussions with your peers as you explore retirement and what to do next, discover professional opportunities in the sport industry beyond your athletic career, and more. Highlighted by a USOPA induction celebration on the first night and a networking reception on the second night, the ACE Summit enables you to engage individually with career professionals, executives, sponsors, ACE support network, prospective employers, and Olympic/Paralympic alumni, who can give you advice tailored to your specific goals and needs. Throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to be trained in the art of resume building, interviewing, networking, managing finances, crafting your story or brand, maintaining a high performing lifestyle, and more. The Summit will also guide you through the available USOC/ACE resources to help develop your post-Rio goals.
